In this single player puzzle game

played upon a grid, the player attempts to create "runs" of similarly shaped objects by moving the shapes around on the grid. Once a run has been achieved, the shapes disappear and gravity takes over. New shapes drop onto the grid from the top. The grid also includes other shapes that the player cannot move but are affected by gravity. The player must exercise care and careful planning to ensure that gravity will create runs of these special "gravity only" blocks. The player is rewarded with higher scores for creating runs of these blocks. Increasing levels within the games introduce additional challenges like the introduction of new shapes from the right, left or bottom and different types of "gravity only" blocks.

Towering Realms
Towering Realms features multi-player capabilities.

In this two-player board game, each player starts with a castle and attempts to grow their empire by deploying different types of towers. Two people sitting in the same room can play the

game, or a network game can be invoked, enabling the player to compete against a player in another physical location.

Each tower increases the player's control of the landscape and increases the tax a player collects. Tax revenue enables the player to upgrade their towers or repair damage suffered when attacked by an opposing player. The game is won either by conquering all of the towns or by destroying the opponents castle. The game is well balanced, as it requires a good deal of strategy to be successful and includes enough randomness to make it fun. The battle animations are really entertaining to watch!

Towering Realms has a map editor that represents a unique Internet feature. Players can create custom boards and access them on the Internet. Joule's Lobby Server technology accesses the custom maps and displays a whole new game the next time Towering Realms is played on their television. This feature represents a truly unique opportunity for driving traffic back and forth between the iTV service and the Internet.

Nibbles
Joule's version of the popular "Snakes" game.

In this single player 'twitch' game played upon a board resembling grass, the player manipulates a snake around the board nibbling "food" as it goes. Food consumption grows the snake longer, making him increasingly difficult to maneuver. Players are rewarded points that move them to highest of 3 levels.
